Wall Clearance Note: The Large requires 25" of clearance between the back of the chair and the wall to fully recline — more than the Small (20.5") and Medium (22"). Measure the available space behind your intended chair location before ordering.
The Golden Technologies Cloud+ Luxe™ with Twilight (PR525-LAR) is the Large size — designed for users approximately 5'9" and above, with a 22" seat-to-floor height, 25" seat width, 22" seat depth, and 32" back height. All Cloud+ Luxe features are standard: five-zone Twilight positioning, patented MaxiComfort® with four-way motion seat, wireless phone charger, hand control dock, removable LED reading light and butler tray table in the right arm compartment, built-in drink holder, USB port, and storage in the left arm compartment. Memory foam bucket seat and memory foam armrests. 400 lb. weight capacity. 25" wall clearance required for full recline — measure before ordering. SmartTek® Diagnostic System and lithium-ion battery backup standard. Optional Nirvana™ Swedish Air Massage with Far Infrared Heat, Deluxe Heat & Vibrating Massage, or HeatWave™ Technology. Tucker standard fabrics — Sinda polyurethane at no upcharge on PR525. Made in USA. Lifetime frame warranty. HCPCS E0627. Also available in Small (PR525-SMA) and Medium (PR525-MED).

The Large is the Cloud+ Luxe for taller users — the only size with a 25" seat width, 22" seat depth, and 32" back height proportioned for someone 5'9" and above. Standard lift chairs are built around medium-height users, leaving taller users with a back that doesn't reach their shoulder blades and a seat that doesn't support the full thigh length. The Large addresses this directly with dimensions scaled for a taller body, while delivering the same complete arm compartment system, Twilight positioning, and memory foam seating construction found across all three Cloud+ Luxe sizes. The one planning consideration is wall clearance — the Large needs 25" behind the chair to fully recline, which is worth measuring before ordering.
The Cloud+ Luxe Large is the only size with a 32" back height from seat to top — 4" taller than the Medium's 30" and 4" taller still than the Small's 28". For a user 5'9" or taller, this means the back of the chair reaches the shoulder blades rather than ending mid-back, providing proper upper body support that shorter chairs don't achieve for taller users. The 22" seat depth supports the full thigh from the base of the back cushion to just behind the knee, where shorter seat depths leave the thighs unsupported and can create pressure at the knee edge. The 25" seat width gives wider-framed users appropriate lateral space without squeezing the hips or thighs against the armrests. At 22" seat-to-floor, your feet rest flat on the floor at the correct height for taller legs. About sizing for taller users →
The Large requires 25" of clearance between the back of the chair and the wall to reach full recline — 2.5" more than the Medium and 4.5" more than the Small. This is the most important pre-purchase measurement for the Large. Place the chair 25" from the wall and it reclines fully. Place it closer and it will contact the wall before reaching the full recline range. If your room has limited wall space behind the intended chair location, measure carefully before ordering. If 25" isn't available and a taller chair is still needed, speak with Broadway Home Medical about alternatives — we may have a chair with tighter wall clearance that works for your height range and room layout. The arm compartment system is identical on the Large as on the Small and Medium. The right arm houses a dock for the AutoDrive™ hand control, a wireless phone charging pad, and a power port for the included removable LED reading light and removable butler tray table. The left arm has a built-in drink holder, USB charging port, and storage space. The split armrest design allows use of the tray and drink holder without disrupting memory foam armrest contact — the padded surface and the functional compartment elements are independent of each other. For taller users who may have longer arms, the arm compartment placement at the chair's natural armrest height remains accessible and ergonomically appropriate. About the arm compartment system →

The Large uses the same five-zone Twilight positioning system as the Small and Medium — upper body recline, lower body footrest, power adjustable headrest, power adjustable lumbar, and Twilight Tilt as the fifth zone. Twilight Tilt changes the chair's pivot geometry to elevate the legs above the heart, achieving a zero-gravity position that reduces circulatory load on the lower body and decompresses the lumbar spine. For taller users the Twilight position is particularly valuable — the 22" seat depth and 32" back height ensure the body is fully supported throughout the tilt range, which a smaller chair in the same position cannot provide for someone of greater height. MaxiComfort® on the Cloud+ includes a four-way motion seat. ZG+ delivers the legs-above-heart configuration with simultaneous lumbar support. About the positioning system →
The Large's memory foam bucket seat conforms to the body under heat and pressure — the 22" depth and 25" width provide the surface area needed for a larger frame to be properly supported without sitting compressed or overhanging the seat edges. Memory foam armrests at the appropriate height for a taller user's arm length provide elbow and forearm comfort across extended sitting sessions. The full chaise construction runs continuously from the back of the seat through the footrest without a gap at the knee, which is particularly important for longer legs that can press against an edge gap on shorter footrest designs. About the memory foam construction →
The most advanced optional upgrade for the Cloud+ Luxe Large is Nirvana™ Swedish Air Massage with Far Infrared Heat Therapy — an air bladder massage system modeled on Swedish kneading technique, combined with Far Infrared heat that penetrates deeper into muscle tissue than surface heat elements. For taller users who carry significant muscle mass in the back and thighs, the deeper pressure and heat penetration of Nirvana is more effective than standard vibration massage, which produces surface-level sensation. Deluxe Heat & Vibrating Massage and HeatWave™ Technology are also available as separate options. All three must be specified at time of order — they cannot be added after the chair is manufactured. "Taller customers run into the same problem with lift chairs that they do with most furniture — the back height is wrong, the seat depth is too short, and the seat-to-floor is too low. The Large Cloud+ solves all three of those at once. The 32-inch back height, 22-inch depth, and 22-inch seat-to-floor are built for someone who's actually tall. The arm compartments, Twilight positioning, and memory foam are the same as the other sizes. The one thing I always flag first is the 25-inch wall clearance — measure it before we place the order."

⚠ Large requires 25" wall clearance — measure before ordering.
Common questions from customers at Broadway Home Medical about the Cloud+ Luxe Large.
The Medium (21" seat-to-floor, 21" depth, 30" back height) is proportioned for users up to about 5'9". For someone taller, the Medium's seat height puts the knees too high, the seat depth leaves the thighs unsupported toward the knee, and the back height doesn't reach the shoulder blades. The Large (22" seat-to-floor, 22" depth, 32" back height) is scaled for a taller body — every key dimension steps up to accommodate longer legs, a longer torso, and a taller sitting position. The 25" seat width also provides more lateral space for a larger frame. If you're at the 5'9" boundary, sitting in both at Broadway Home Medical is the best way to confirm which fits correctly.
The Large's greater seat depth (22") and taller back height (32") require more mechanical travel to reach full recline than the smaller sizes. As the chair tilts and the footrest extends, the geometry sweeps through a larger arc, requiring more space behind the chair. The Small needs 20.5" and the Medium needs 22" — the Large needs 25". This is the most common planning oversight with the Large size. Measure the available space behind the intended chair location before ordering — if 25" isn't available in your room, contact Broadway Home Medical to discuss alternatives.
The right arm compartment houses a dock for the AutoDrive™ hand control, a wireless phone charging pad, and a power port for the included removable LED reading light and butler tray table. The left arm has a built-in drink holder, USB charging port, and storage space. The split armrest design lets you use the tray mount and drink holder without your arm leaving the memory foam armrest surface. All three Cloud+ sizes have the same arm compartment system — the only thing that changes between sizes is the overall arm height.
The five zones are identical across all Cloud+ sizes — upper body recline, lower body footrest, power adjustable headrest, power adjustable lumbar, and Twilight Tilt. The Twilight Tilt mechanism shifts the chair's pivot geometry to achieve a true zero-gravity position with legs above the heart. The Large's 44" footrest extension (vs. 43" on the Small and Medium) accommodates longer legs in the fully reclined position. The four-way motion seat gives additional seat adjustment directions beyond standard MaxiComfort® positioning. ZG+ enables the full legs-above-heart configuration with simultaneous lumbar support.
Memory foam conforms under heat and pressure to the shape of the person seated — for a larger frame, the 25" seat width and 22" seat depth give the foam enough surface area to support the body without it sitting compressed or with thighs overhanging the seat edge. The full chaise runs from the back of the seat to the end of the footrest without a gap, which matters for longer legs that can hit an edge gap in shorter footrest designs. Memory foam armrests at the Large's arm height are proportioned for a longer arm length. For users who've found other lift chairs uncomfortable due to seat surface or armrest pressure during extended sitting, the memory foam throughout the Large is worth experiencing in person.
Three options are available: HeatWave™ Technology (heat only), Deluxe Heat & Vibrating Massage (surface heat plus vibration), and Nirvana™ Swedish Air Massage with Far Infrared Heat (the most advanced — air bladder kneading massage plus deep-penetrating FIR heat). All three must be specified at time of order and cannot be added after the chair is built. For users choosing the Large who plan to use the chair therapeutically for back or muscle pain, Nirvana + FIR is the option that provides the deepest combination of pressure and heat. Ask at Broadway Home Medical about the practical differences before placing your order.
The Medium is for users approximately 5'4"–5'9" with a 21" seat-to-floor and 21" seat depth. The Large is for users 5'9" and above with a 22" seat-to-floor, 22" depth, and 32" back height. The Large also needs 25" of wall clearance vs. the Medium's 22". If you're right at 5'9", sitting in both at Broadway Home Medical is the most reliable way to determine which feels correct. The seat-to-floor height — where your feet rest flat — and the seat depth — whether the back of your knee contacts the seat edge — are the two measurements that matter most.
The Golden Cloud+ Luxe with Twilight is available at Broadway Home Medical, Wichita's largest DME store. Stop by either of our locations to sit in the Large, compare it to the Medium if you're near the 5'9" boundary, and measure the 25" wall clearance footprint before committing. We strongly recommend an in-person visit for the Large before ordering — confirming the right size and the right wall clearance in person avoids the most common issues with large lift chair purchases.
